Ok, this argument is good... ;-) But on the other hand, it's less to carry if I can say that the boat really can't load any more stuff!

I've got another idea to reduce the effect of the additional load. It would be easy to add an inch to the upper side of each sheer panel. This would not effect the boats design but give nearly one inch more freeboard. The rest of 0.2 inches should be no problem because my favourite waters are quite calm. Maybe this is the easiest solution without any new calculations.
