varnishing outdoors

Hi all,

Hoping to get your opinion on varnishing in the great outdoors. I've recently moved, leaving my glorious workspace and all its dust behind. All the painting is done on my Chesapeake 17, just need to slap on the varnish. I'm thinking of setting up a temporary plastic tent on our porch, applying the coats in the mornings to avoid condensation in the evenings, daytime temps should be in the 80's, moderately humid as well. Seems like a good way to keep the dust factor down, ups the risk of insects dancing on the deck though. What do you think? Worst idea ever or a stroke of pure genius?

Thanks for the help!
