you might post this on www.kayakforum.com or check the review on www.paddling.net as neither are native CLC designs.
IIRC the QueenCharlotte is a bigger boat, more maneuverable. The A.Hawk is faster. Both have moderate weathercocking, both respond well to paddler skill.
First off are these boats in the appropriate displacement for you size? The Pygmy Tern is a better balanced boat than the QC for paddling in wind, the Shearwater 17 or Shearwater/Merganser 18 are better high wind,point to point paddling boats.
