Seriously, though, I basically self-insure. That is, I assume all the risks myself. My theory is that for a few years of what a rider would cost, I can build a whole new boat. Accidents probably wouldn't require that much. As for theft, "we rely on the good will of our fellow man and the forbearance of reptiles". (OK movie fans, where's that from?).
