Brushing thinner 333 and penetrol are two totaly different animals. Penetrol does not thin the product you are putting it in. It is a flow agent. 333 is a true thinner, Brush vs spray thinner differs in it's evaporation rate. Brushing thinner evaporates more slowly allowing more working time.
I second Charlie's comments on wiping down. I did the same thing on my first paint job. That is one part of the instructions that Interlux should delete.
Penetrol is available anywhere that sells paint.
