About to start 3 SH

Hi, My two daughters and I are about to start 3 Shearwaters. We got the woodpart kits and most of the accessories. We picked up two 16' kits at OkoumeFest as they are the old width that the girls wanted. I ordered a 17' kit when I got home. I have previously built a Mill Creek 16.5 from plans. It should get interesting building 3 at once.

My first question for all you Shearwater builders is: Do you have to bevel all the edges, like the directions call for? I'm concerned about messing up the edges.

2nd Question: How much epoxy did you use?
