two hold downs
Posted by Charlie Jones on Jun 11, 2007
Yes, I used a table saw- blade kicked to 45, a finger board and a hold down.. The picture should help a lot. I used a small push stick to shove the bitter end through the saw or go around and pull it from the other end. Plus I always make stuff over long so material lift or snipe at each end can be cut away.
By the way, I NEVER use fingers putting material through a saw. I always use a push stick unless the stuff is a foot wide or more. I've been a woodworker for quite a few years and I'm attached to my fingers- I still have all of them and want to keep it that way.
