The Goldspar Satin was one of the varnishes I researched thismorning and found out was not UV protected. After a little more research, I discovered that Interlux says it should only be used above water. I guess that's why CLC says it's good for the interior brightwork and should go over UV protected layers of varnish. They are smart cookies! I still think it's worth a try on a kayak hull. It's not like a kayak gets left in the water 24/7 for weeks at a time. What's the worst that could happen?
