Two glass questions

Howdy fellers!

After putting the glass on the deck, despite my best efforts, I could not get any to adhere to the front and back tips of the boat. Not surprising as the angle is so acute. How does one get glasss over the tips? Or do you just put several coats of epoxy on them?

Also, while I have the experts reading hopefully, I have one little patch (a little over a sq inch) of glass that did not turn entirely clear despite my best efforts to saturate the weave. When looking at it up close, it appears the weave is more open, or not as tightly woven in that one spot. Has anyone seen this before, and is there anything you can do about it besides cut it out and patch it? It isn't that bad, so I don't plan on messing with it if that is what it takes to remedy the situation.
