Quest. for Charlie Jones
Posted by Brad Shook on May 11, 2007
Hi Charlie,
I am going to take the plunge and put Bristol finish on a Merganser this weekend.
I intend to roll it (with urethane compatible roller covers) and tip off with a foam brush.
Is this going to be ok and can you give me a few pointer?
I will be doing the tech page "practical application" where you put 3 coats on with no sanding and then let cure and sand with 220 (dry?) before a final coat.
I printed off the tech pages so I have the correct "information" so to speak. Will pouring and mixing 8 oz.'s at a time be enough to do an 18ft x 22" Merganser sides and deck?
Thanks Charlie, Brad
