extra bulkheads in Triple

We are ready to start stitching our CLC Triple. Just one last consideration I am having is adding extra 4mm bulkheads to accomodate for a day hatch behind each paddler.

I see by the locations of peddles and foot rests this my not be advisable. Then considering sweety and myself are 5'5 and 5'8, and a grandchild will be the usual paddler in the center if this adjustment can be made?

Anyone try this with success?
