Gene,

I just did that last week. SW17

I filled with epoxy and it shaped quite nicely.. but also, i plan on painting my hull and bring the hull color up over the deck edge and cover the shear. This will cover 5 of the 7 joints i have with paint. (hiding all my imperfections over the majority of the craft)
