Hi Chris, My brother and I are building a pair of these, however, his work schedule only allows us a day every week+, so you'll likely get your deck on first. Thanks for the note to and from John, that helps explain the "no curve" for that section. However, when I lay a piece on flat from the shear clamp to the carlin, the "inside" edge of the shear clamp is a bit high. So I was wondering if that edge (inside) should be planed instead of the normal outside edge as is the bow and stern. It would seem that it should be.
