Well, any time you get a lot of foreign material on the surface, you'd ought to wipe it off with a solvent like denatured alcohol. It would take an astonishing amount of pollen to turn your boat yellow, but by the time you've got enough of anything on the surface to worry about it, you ought to wipe the surface clean, anyway.
