Hi Derik,

The fillet is very important for two reasons... The first is that epoxied glass doesn't span empty gaps well. (Surprisingly "puncture susceptible" unless layered.) The second reason is that epoxied glass doesn't like hard chines. It prefers smooth, well-supported curves (preferably 1/4" or more in radius.)

I'd follow the CLC instructions.
