Lee's right, the coats were too thick. Next time use a squeegee when applying the glass. For fill coats use a roller and tip out with a dry foam brush. Instead of 2 coats, plan on it taking 5 or so, but the overall epoxy use will be less than your 2 coats was. And there won't be any runs, so no rotisserie needed.
