Hi Dean.....when I first noticed that there was a more prominent edge on the tape I just made sure I kept this edge facing the keel on all joints. That way, when it's all done, everything looks symmetrical and neat. I saw no need to minimize the edge further. Are you taping the joints in the cockpit area as well?
