Epoxy

So....I am back...Epoxying the outside hull...After 8 coats and sanding and switching to a roller...At this step is the epoxy coating supposed to be super smooth? It is without runs but some roller marks are visible. I was wondering if varnishing and sanding would take care of those marks.
