It has been a while since I have read the CLC construction manual. They recommend rounding the mating corners on the panels to make it easier to register the panels with each other. Some guys round them more than others and it affects the fit of the bulkheads. Just push the bulkheads a little farther toward the ends of the kayak and that will push the sides out at their correct angle and suck the bottom panels up.
