First Boat Project...?

This is my first building project. I have seemingly simple question. I am located in Southern Alabama and it is humid down here it rarly drops below 70%rh and is regluarly above 90%rh. I was wondering what effect the heavy humidity will have on a sheltere but outdoor project?
