I read it too, and will persevere with scraping a bit more. I like scraping wood, and doing spot work on epoxy. But when I try large areas the epoxy takes the edge off my scrapers quite quickly, so I'm constantly sharpening them. They get hot, too, which is not fun. So I reach for the mask, earplugs, and the ROS, which I liken to driving a car on cruise control. Just steer and relax.

How long do the edges last on carbide scrapers? I might invest in one of those.
