My $0.02: I too am a fan of puzzle joints. I was able to order my CH17LT with puzzle joints, and I'm very happy with the way the panels have joined up. I've heard that CLC did these CH17LTs for a test-case build-class, but I was a lucky recipient. If I was a purist expert boat-builder, doing everything from scratch, I might look down my nose at these things, but as a novice, I appreciate the ease with which they go together.
