Puzzled-jointed 17LT

Posted by CLC on Dec 13, 2006

We did the puzzle-jointed Chesapeake 17LT's for the first time in October for a build-your-own class. Those worked out really well, and we had some extras so we offered those to a few builders. (We have not, however, gone into production with puzzle-jointed 17LT's.)

Anyway, mea culpa on the long bottom panel. When I revised the panels with puzzle joints in CAD I inadvertantly added length to the extreme rear of the bottom panel. In the class we just trimmed the ends and since everything else was perfect I didn't fix it. Certainly if we do any more of the 17LT's that way I'll fix the error.
