On the inside you could have a 1/4" wide fillet with 3" 9oz tape over it or five pounds of epoxy in the end with three inches of solid goop over the "knee" and it would make NO difference regarding durability and resistance to wear and impacts that require repair.
With either scenario the plywood on the outside would tear away first.
