from both Bob and Laszlo. One criticism I have always had of Norm is that he says how easy something is and then pulls out a megabucks tool to do it. He has built some nice stuff though, including a small sail boat. Over the years he has gotten a little more "full figured"(as many of us have) so the kitchen table boat would have to have a little additional freeboard. ;-) I agree advantages would be not considerable with using a nail gun. Just thinking out loud. I'll admit I am a little bit of a gadget guy (I'm an engineer-occupational hazard). Didn't use one on last boat and it turned out great. That's why I am building another one(different model) for my wife. I appreciate the feedback.
