Wrong Clear packing tape

The glue on the big box office supply packing tape sticks better to the epoxy than the tape. It makes a mess.

I use only 3M Scotch standard weight packing tape. The 3M does not leave its glue behind. And heavy weight tape does not have enough stretch to create clamping forces (and costs more per foot).
