Dave,

Would you use the nailer in place of epoxy or with epoxy in place of clamps?

I would never try to replace epoxy with nails, and using them in addition to epoxy would be overkill in my opinion. Adding weight for no gain.

I've built three boats so far and pride myself that the finished products contain virtually no metal. I go to great pains to remove every bit of copper stitching wire. Introducing nails and staples unless absolutely necessary runs contrary to my goal.
