Nothing beats a 3 inch minicell carved seat for comfort. They are the end of my sleepy toes. Backbands when tight limit my torso rotation and fatigue my back on a long paddle. A simple low centered foam support is the best for me as shown in the photo. The sliding seat, also in the photo, has not proved to be worth the effort to construct as I never move it.
