Re: Buying a boat kit

Great idea, but they're both age 17 (twins) and about to go off to college. After they're gone, that triple would just take up space. The idea of a Mill Creek is also good, but I'm looking for something alittle more high-performance and more able to handle some waves in the open coastal waters. It's looking like a Chesapeake LT is the way to go, judging from the posts, and the 17 LT seems to best fit my measurements. Thanks to all for your input, and thanks to CLC for hosting this rich forum. You can likely anticipate more questions from me in the future as I tackle the project this Fall and Winter.
