Hey, nice to be remembered! My baby will float before hallow's een, I swear. I've got three coats of varnish on the deck (I'm doing bright on top, white on bottom and sides), paint coming up. I couldn't get a really decent dust-free environment, so ended up putting plastic up over the carport and living with lots of little microdust bits in the finish (not so bad unless you look very closely) -- as with everything on this boat, the imperfections I hope will at least give it character.
Thanks for the advice on the epoxy -- it hasn't frozen out here, that's for sure, so I will give it a go.
Two or three more coats of varnish and then it's on to the paint!
