Caribou? Holy cow! I used to live in Limestone, many years back.

As for visibility, I like the whip better than this overpriced pillowcase. I do think, however that a tennis ball bouncing around 8 feet above my kayak might get a little beyond annoying. And with the rock of any seas that think is going to be banging all over the place, in the water, on the deck, wherever. Balance issues might be a factor too, with something like that, though I doubt it would be a lot.
