Towing or mounting kayaks

I'm looking for a workable way to take my 2 kayaks on a short cruise in my sailboat. So far towing trials have not work out well, the boats keep flipping whether towed in tandom or side by side off the aft cleats. I'm wondering if anyone has come up with a workable solution or some kind of mount on the boat itself. Putting them up on the deck is not an option.
