I just knew you guys were gonna pounce on me...

Well, as a matter of fact, I tried them on the car today and was amazed by just how well they worked. (Check eBay customer reviews - they ain't bad.) Granted, I wouldn't try a cross-country trip, but I have to say that I can't find a better overall solution for short jaunts around the back roads of Cape Cod...

I'm not knocking other rack systems... Not at all... Thule et al make superb stuff... I just don't want to spend that kind of money right now... Nope, I'll save my money and use it to buy beer after the journey is finished.

In the mean time, I'll save my pennies, and buy a Thule etc. when the situation and funds allows...
