My 17LT came in at 42 LBS while it is listed at 45. That was my first boat and built as a kit. Unlike Kurt I had no pryor experience with wood or glass/epoxy. I did however spend time reading this message board and learned all about making small fillets and using less epoxy. Apparently that is the key.
