I saw some stuff as well on how changing CG can affect weather helm and wondered why this has and effect. I assumed it is because more of the boat is submerged on the end with more weight moving the center of resistance forward or aft depending on where the weight is. However, with a kayak you can't reposition the people much so I guess I will have to just expirement with placement of the leeboard. I guess I can attach the sailrig to the boat using car straps until I get the position right.
