bulkhead position & deck

When installing the front bulkhead on the 16LT kit I'm building, I positioned it closer to the cockpit than indicated on the plans for a better fit. Now, as I'm about to install the deck, I am doubting myself and wondering if this placement will negatively affect the camber of the decking. Since the bulkhead is an inch farther aft, will I end up with a flat spot? Or will the deck simply pull away from the bulkhead and leave me with a gap that i need to go back and fill? These are the questions that keep me awake at night....
