People sometimes ask me why I prefer sailboats. This picture tells it all - the rowboaters can only see where they've been, the kayaker has to travel sideways and the sailboats are sitting tall, facing where they're going.

Seriously, though, Kurt's rolling demos were fun to watch and quite educational. It got contagious, too. At one point I could see 3 different boats in one stage or another of a roll.
