Lee,

The thing we're fooling with are okoume seats - sort of look like tractor seats, which sit right on the bottom of the fiberglassed cockpit floor.

I've built one already and while it is very comfortable and STRONG, it came in on the heavy side. So I'll try thinner cloth and epoxy etc., using all your tips and see if we can shave off an ounce or three. (God forbid that MOI should loose an ounce).
