Re: Shearwa gask tipCLC?

Timely thread since I just installed the gaskets for my WR18 flush hatches last night and put them on the sills. With the hatches on and the bungees on the Moby Latches very tight the hatches were a little proud.
Still about 1 1/2 or 2 mm proud this morning. So putting the gaskets on the hatches might work better? It looks like some sort of stop would be a good idea to keep the Moby Latches from compressing the gaskets when the hatches are off for storage.
For now I'll use the boat as is for a while. If the gaskets on the sills aren't a problem, good. If they turn out to be, what solvent takes the gasket stickem off epoxy?
