Kurt didn't tell y'all about his experiments with a Tounge Oil finish... His mouth kept drying out.. :)
I'm still trying to shame him into an oil based varnish for his boats, but nuttin' doin' so far.. Don't use this on a paddle, when your hands get wet, grip is OK, but the the slight movement of your hand on the paddle makes an annoying squeaking sound. If this happens to you, grab a handful of sand/muck from the bottom and rub vigorously where your hands go.
