Very sad news it is.

His writing, and that of his other family members, is always a fun read. He can make you laugh like a Kurt Maurer or a Mark Twain.

I never corresponded with the man, but the loss feels as if he was a close family member. I have wanted to build a copy of his Rescue Minor since it first appeared in print. Robb White seemed to invent or help popularize techniques that make boat building plausible for many folks today.

My heart goes out to his family.
