just lifting it from the bow and grinding the deck of the stern in the ground works best to empty the cockpit. One of the reasons for well rounded ends and a few extra layers of glass at the tips. It's not nice for the rudder but it works. Otherwise putting the hull on it's side and rolling it on it's deck works with the stern down hill. Another reason for glassing the coaming with a couple extra layers on the forward edge.
Pump and sponge work well too.
