Hey tell me about using undersized holes and knotted ends. Sounds real simple, real clean just the thing if you ask me. Do you just drill a slightly smaller hole than the bungee diameter seal the wood and knot the bungee end...? If so, What size hole for 1/4 inch bungee?... Im getting ready to go on a paddling trip in my unfinished SH 16...Can't resist.
