Re: Coaming Glass

I 45 degree bais cut cloth into 6" tape to cover the top and inside face of the coaming in one long piece. The bias cut is stretchy enough to make the curve. I overlap to double layer the glass at the back of the coaming where I sit when entering the kayak. I have found if I wet out the first half of the glass and then scissor trim the starting edge of the wet glass and then wet the rest of the glass and then scissor trim the finish edge of the wet glass, I can get a clean edge without the messy fray of loose threads.
