If the deck overhangs the sheer line(prior to trimming)the standard procedure is to flip the boat over while the epoxy cures...the deck overhang will catch squeeze out and actually carry it back to the joint...helping to fill any gaps where your sheer clamp bevel may be less than perfect. Tghis should help inside the boat too...where nobody will see it anyhoo.
