Texas Kayak Builders Bash

Just a reminder that we're only a few weeks away from the 2006 Texas Kayak Builders Bash at Huntsville State Park, so get ready to head 'em up and move 'em out... ki yi yippee yi yay!

This year we're having a top-flight FFF fly casting instructor, Al Crise, on hand to perform free demonstrations, and host instruction classes at a special rate, see our web flyer for details. Also featuring a Saturday night southern-style Fish Fry, conducted by Charlie Tuna. Lotsa kayak building and paddling door prizes to give away, too!

Accomodations are getting mighty scarce, so it may require a bit of detective work to turn up a place to hang yer hat if'n you haven't already made reservations somwhere. We're getting big, man, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if we get a hunnerd boats this year.
