6oz. vs. 4oz for deck?

I was wondering how much weight I would add if I glassed the deck of the Ches. 18 I'm building by using 6 oz glass instead of 4 oz. Two reason I have some extra 6 oz cloth and I'm a big guy, and I went through the deck on my Cape Charles with my big butt. (it had no glass on it) Thanks Ted
