Moving a stitched boat
Posted by Mike C on Mar 4, 2006
Greetings, I am about to start building an Eastport Pram in my basement. I was wondering if you can move (without any ill effects of course) a hull that has been stitched but not glued. I am guessing you can since you have to invert it to glue it. I am not 100% sure it can fit up the stairs, although my slightly larger than life size carboard prototype made it, but,in the spirit of "measure twice, cut once" I'd like to try with the real stitched hull before I glue it and it become "trapped" in my home. Thanks.
