From your description of the Cape Chas. I think that my first SnG boat, a Roy Folland Sea Wolf (now Absolute Kayak, Canada), might be a dead ringer. Lots of rocker, low volume in the bow, pearls in small waves & very wet in chop, weathercocks easily, lots of freeboard, high coaming making for difficult layback rolls. Boy, what a mistake. Bought in 2001, I wish I'd bought CLC or Pygmy.
