I've built a 16LT and have just finished the hull on a 17LT, and I've had absolutely no reason for more than wire. The cnc cut panels join up just right. The only area of real strength needed is at the very ends of the bottom panels as you convince them to transition from horizontal to vertical, and even here the wire does fine. A temporary spring clamp or a second pair of hands is all the help needed.
